Preparing you and your partner for birth and baby.  This fun course will empower you & your birth partner (if one is attending with you), helping you to understand your body, your baby, your birth; essentially everything you need to know to prepare fully for pregnancy-labour-birth-baby.  Our classes are massively social, relaxed and surprisingly great fun & unbiased. We cover;

• Stages of labour and progression
• Understanding contractions and coping techniques
• Role of hormones and positive feedback loop
• Effects of fear on the process
• Breath, yoga positions, and mindfulness for labour
• hypnobirthing tecniques
• Clear explanations of medical interventions and pain relief options
• Decision-making and informed consent
• Duration of labour, when to call, and what to pack
• Birth choices – home, midwife-led unit, or hospital
• Essential birth partner tips
• 4th trimester – early days with your newborn, feeding, sleeping, baby care, and self-care for mom
