What do we cover and what to expect?
Our course is very much bespoke to meet the needs of our families in attendance, so the format can change from course to course, but we always cover;
- Signs labour is starting
- Stages of labour and progression
- Understanding contractions and coping techniques
- Role of hormones and positive feedback loop
- Effects of fear on the process
- Breath, yoga positions, and mindfulness for labour
- Hypnobirthing techniques and breathing
- Clear explanations of medical interventions and pain relief options
- Decision-making and informed consent
- Duration of labour, when to call, and what to pack
- Birth choices – home, midwife-led unit, or hospital
- Essential birth partner tips
- 4th trimester – early days with your newborn, feeding, sleeping, baby care, and self-care for moms
These fun-filled sessions are social, relaxed, and surprisingly great fun.

Baby due December, January or February? Join our November class, running at Founders and co, 7-9pm on Tuesday November 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th.
Baby due late February, March, April? Join our January/February class, running at Founders and co, 7-9pm on Tuesday January 20th, 27th, February 3rd, 10th.
Baby due late April, May, June? Join our March class, running at Founders and Co, 7-9pm on Tuesday March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th.
